National Strategic Plan for Quality of Care in the DRC
Historically, healthcare quality assurance in the DRC was fragmented, with provinces and partners implementing scattered tools and standards, often misaligned with the country’s context, challenges, and National Health Development Plans. Since 2014, IMA World Health has led a collaborative effort alongside the Government of the DRC to consolidate the nation’s healthcare initiatives through an integrated quality monitoring approach, uniting targeted tools and laying a solid foundation for cohesive progress.
