Operational Research on the Effect of ASSP Home Visits on the Nutritional Practices of Beneficiary Households and the Nutritional Status of Children of these Households

Malnutrition continues to be one of the main public health problems in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). To help reduce the effects of malnutrition and its consequences, the Access to Primary Health Care (ASSP) project, funded by the U.K.'s FCDO (Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office) and implemented by IMA World Health, focused mainly on nutritional education and counseling of families with malnourished children, using a case management approach, including home gardening education. This report is a third-party evaluation of the ASSP project's different interventions on the development of malnourished children of project-participating households.
