Rick Garza

Interim Chief Financial Officer

Rick R. Garza is the Interim CFO for finance and administration at Corus International, overseeing the organization's overall financial management.

With more than 30 years of experience in finance, administration, and accounting, he has held various leadership roles, including recent interim CFO positions for Reading is Fundamental, American Forest Foundation, and International Justice Mission.

Rick's expertise extends across both for-profit and non-profit sectors, where he has collaborated with organizations of varying sizes and complexities, managing annual revenues ranging from $3 million to $500 million. Throughout his career, he has successfully led large teams on a global scale.

Actively engaged in community-focused initiatives, Rick enjoys volunteering his time and expertise. He has served as Board President for a number of organizations including Camp Fire Northern California, Volunteer Fairfax and Fairfax Center Recreation Association.

Rick initiated his international non-profit career in 1989 as the Director of Finance, Administration, and Treasurer at Air Serv International, a not-for-profit humanitarian aviation organization addressing logistical and transportation needs for humanitarian aid providers worldwide.

Rick earned his BA with honors in Business Administration, with a concentration in accounting, from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, and holds a graduate certificate in accounting from Kaplan University.
