Water for all: World Water Day 2019

  • Mar 22, 2019

March 22 is World Water Day and this year’s theme is “Water for All,” recognizing that billions of people are still living without safe water – their households, schools, workplaces, farms and factories struggling to survive and thrive. Marginalized groups – women, children, refugees, indigenous peoples, disabled people and many others – are often overlooked, and sometimes face discrimination, as they try to access and manage the safe water they need. Recognizing that water is life’s essential element – and affects the quality of life of families around the world in so many ways – here are just a few examples of how you help provide water for all for our brothers and sisters in need around the world. Take a look at how IMA and our longtime partner Lutheran World Relief help to provide water for all.
