16 Years of Impact: Addressing Violence in the DRC

IMA World Health has spent 16 years strengthening systems to prevent and respond to violence in the Democratic Republic of Congo through integrated, survivor-centered programming. Across conflict-affected communities, IMA World Health has combined community-based prevention, comprehensive survivor care, health system strengthening and nationwide PEP kit distribution to improve access to lifesaving medical, psychosocial and protection services. The work has supported more than 382,000 survivors, trained 28,500+ community actors and reached 3.5 million people with prevention messaging and information about available services, while helping strengthen national systems for coordinated response, supply chain management and accountability.
