ick Santos, president and CEO of IMA World Health, was keynote speaker at a community forum Sept. 4 to discuss “What Religious Leaders Don’t Know about Domestic and Sexual Violence (and why it matters)” at Grace Memorial Episcopal Church in Portland, Oregon.

The event was for faith leaders to learn more about the Broken Silence report, which shows pastors often fail to appropriately address domestic and sexual violence and find themselves ill-equipped to respond to incidents of violence within their communities.

IMA, on behalf of Wewillspeakout.us, is one of the organizations that commissioned the report titled “Broken Silence: A Call for Churches to Speak Out.” Read it here.
