Roselle Agner

Senior Technical Advisor, Gender

Roselle Agner leads Corus International’s agency-wide strategy to mainstream gender equality and social inclusion (GESI), ensuring adherence to international standards. She leverages her global experience and passion for inclusive development through comprehensive GESI analysis and assessments that support program design, implementation, and optimization.

Roselle brings 15+ years in managing projects and multi-disciplinary teams, leading program design and implementation and providing technical support across Asia, Middle East, Eastern and Central Europe and East Africa. Roselle joins Corus after a decade of working for RTI International and Chemonics in various capacities, including deputy chief of party in the Philippines and Afghanistan, gender equality and social inclusion practice manager, country representative and program manager. She has worked on several high-profile and challenging programs, including developing the gender equality and social inclusion plan for a $37 million Afghanistan governance project and as global practice leader for gender equality and social inclusion at Chemonics — a practice area that she initiated and grew.

Roselle was a Peace Corps volunteer in Kyrgyzstan, where she taught English as a secondary language and provided organizational support to a local women’s crisis center. She holds a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Georgia.
