Emily Sollie serves as the senior communications advisor for the president & CEO of Corus International, with a focus on strategy, internal communications and organizational culture. She also serves as the staff liaison to the Corus Board of Directors.
Emily joined Corus subsidiary Lutheran World Relief in 2005 as media relations manager. She has enjoyed a varied career as a communicator: newspaper reporter in her native South, academic book editor at Smithsonian Press, and several roles of increasing responsibility at Lutheran World Relief, including director of communications.
She serves on the board of directors of Southeast Ministry, a Washington, DC nonprofit offering free adult literacy and basic education classes. Emily has an M.A. in American Studies from the University of Alabama, and a B.A. in English and mass communication from the University of Georgia.
