Caroline Kerin is responsible for the management of the overall financial operations at Corus International. This includes management of accounting operations, U.S. treasury services, statutory and management reporting, external audit, budget processes, financial analysis and forecasting, and the development and oversight of required financial systems, policies, procedures, and internal controls. She joined Corus subsidiary Lutheran World Relief as deputy director of financial planning in May 2017.
Much of Caroline’s professional career has been with World Relief in Baltimore, where she spent eight years. She joined World Relief in 2007 in the role of Senior Accountant, which led to her promotion to Senior Manager of Budgeting and Reporting in 2014. In those roles she was directly involved in the internal and external financial reporting efforts, with a focus on timely, accurate, and meaningful financial data and analysis for various audiences and key stakeholders. She also oversaw budget development and implementation, as well as maintained financial systems, policies, and procedures.
More recently, Caroline spent a little less than two years at the law firm of DLA Piper, where she was responsible for variance analysis, budgeting support, monthly financial package compilation and other key finance and accounting support.
Caroline has a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from University of Phoenix, a Master of Arts in Accounting Information Systems from the University of Maryland University College.
