IMA World Health has been a partner to the African Christian Health Associations Platform (ACHAP) since its inception in 2007. ACHAP is an advocacy and networking organization made up of 34 Christian/church health associations (CHAs) in 28 sub-Saharan African countries. Committed to the strengthening of faith-based health care in Africa, IMA is proud to work alongside ACHAP to advance health through its networks.

This week, ACHAP was lauded on the Huffington Post’s Impact Blog in a post by David J. Olson titled, “Global Health Needs More Strange Bedfellows, Unorthodox Partnerships” for its outside-the-box work with pharaceutical companies to combat diseases. IMA firmly agrees these partnerships are essential to truly taking global health to the next level. Congratulations to ACHAP for the well-deserved recognition!
