



Paul Derstine
Born and raised in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, Paul Derstine studied Accounting and Sociology at Temple University (Philadelphia, PA) and GoshenCollege (Goshen, IN) before completing his graduate studies in international development at the University of Missouri (Columbia, MO).
A major part of Derstine's career has been committed to international development work in the Caribbean, primarily Haiti, and in Africa, where he directed organizations involved in primary health care, micro-enterprise credit, coffee and cocoa production, and marketing.
Derstine has served as the CEO of IMA since 1992, and has supported the IMA staff in developing new health services in recent years, including:
The numerous Boards of Directors on which Derstine has served include The Grant Foundation/Hospital Albert Schweitzer (Haiti), the American Leprosy Missions (SC), the Partnership for Quality Medical Donations (PA), and the NGO Coordination Group for Ivermectin Distribution (Geneva).
Derstine is married to Eleanor Ann (Yoder) and the father of two children, Michael and Ann.
